NCP Program
Earn Money to complete your BSN.  This is not an ROTC program! Just go to School and earn money.
No Drill Weekends.  No special classes to take.  No required fitness training.

$10,000 Sign-on Bonus
($5,000 at acceptance/entry in inactive reserve and $5,000 at 6-month anniversary)
PLUS
$1,000 monthly stipend paid directly to you

Qualifications
-        Be enrolled full-time or accepted into an accredited Nursing Program that confers a  
Baccalaureate  Degree
-        Attend a school that does not have a Navy Reserve Officer’s Training Corps Program (NROTC).   
No Drilling Reserve.
-        Must be able to complete degree within 24 months, but not less than 6 months.
-        Have a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
-        Must be enrolled as a full-time student attending all normal sessions (two semesters or three
quarters).
-        Must be able to complete their degree and be commissioned before their 42th birthday.
-        Must be a U.S. Citizen.
-        Must be physically qualified for commission as a Naval Officer.

Salary info:

If you are stationed in Bethesda as your first station (a large percentage are), you get:

Starting Pay-Monthly (O-1, Ensign)
Base Pay:  $2555.70
Single BAH: $1580 (non-taxable)
BAS (Basic Allowance for Subsistence): $202.76 (non-taxable)

That's $4,186 a month or $52061.52/yr

Promotion is rapid with advancement  O-3 in about four years.

Some places also have COLA (Cost of Living Allowance)

-30 days paid vacation each year
